Rogers Guardianship
-
Rogers guardianship/authority is required if you are pursuing guardianship of your child and your child takes antipsychotic medication
-
Common antipsychotic medications include: Risperidone (Risperdal) and Aripiprazole (Abilify)
-
-
When someone is given Rogers authority by the court, the individual is assigned a Rogers monitor to ensure the individual taking the antipsychotic medication is being medicated following the court-approved treatment plan
-
The Rogers monitor can be the person filing the Rogers guardianship (such as a parent) or a different identified individual
-
-
The Rogers guardian must submit an annual review. This is in addition to the annual report that must be submitted by the guardian
