Centers for Independent Living (CIL)

Centers for Independent Living (CILs) are community-based organizations designed by and operated by people with a variety of disabilities. 

Centers for Independent Living Provide:

  1. Peer Support

  2. Information and Referals

  3. Skills Training for independent living

  4. Transition support for youth with disabilities after finishing secondary education

  5. Assistance and support to prevent/avoid hospitalization
